AMAZIGH JOURNALISM IN MOROCCO, APPEARING AND DEVELOPMENT, RABAT: IRCAM (INSTITUT ROYAL DE LA CULTURE AMAZIGHE), 2015

A refereed academic study issued by the publications of the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture in Rabat. In it, the researcher Tijani Boulaouali dealt with the history of the Amazigh press in Morocco since its inception in the sixties of the last century until today.

This book has been divided into three parts of 228 pages. The first part is devoted to the approach to the term Amazigh written press. In the second part, the history and reality of the Amazigh written press were diagnosed, in addition to anticipating its future. In the third part, it was applied to various models of the Amazigh written press, namely the individual, collective, party and enterprise press.


AMAZIGH REALITY AND THE MODERN CHANGES, CASABLANCA: AFRIQUE ORIENT, 2014

In this book, the author Tijani Boulaouali dealt with the Amazigh issue, which has witnessed an unparalleled development in the last three decades as a result of a combination of a number of reasons. Some are external related to the general international climate, and its radical changes that affected the human perception of history, existence and culture. Other reasons are internal related to the Moroccan national context, and the new emerged ideas, events and laws. This development was accompanied by a heated debate, especially at the cultural and political levels, which resulted in a difference in visions, propositions and interpretations, which ranged between realism and utopianism, truth and illusion, acknowledgment and refutation.

The author concluded that Tamazight is an indispensable necessity, especially in the Moroccan reality, and that any language or culture in any part of the globe is an inevitable necessity, because Tamazight is a basic and pivotal tributary in Moroccan culture and civilization. This is confirmed by both history and reality. Therefore, this component should be kept away from any ideological interpretation or any political marketing, because it contributes greatly to establishing local specificity and enriching Moroccan culture, which is characterized by outstanding diversity, whether at the natural, historical, intellectual or human level.


AMAZIGH WRITTEN PRESSEMERGENCE AND DEVELOPMENT, RABAT: MANAF PRESS, 2009

This book is a theoretical introduction to the Amazigh written press, with the aim of filling the existing vacuum in this field of knowledge and information. It includes six chapters.

The first chapter deals with the term journalism in general in its linguistic and idiomatic dimensions. In addition to the term newspaper. The second chapter sheds light on the Moroccan press and its position within the Arab press, the most important historical phases it has undergone, and its independence from the Arab Mashreq press. The third chapter deals with the Amazigh written press, including its concept, its emergence and historical development, and the most important stages it passed through. The fourth chapter discusses the reasons for the historical absence of the Amazigh press, then its current reality, and the problem of language and the letters in which it is written. The fifth chapter deals with the phenomenon of multilingualism that characterizes the Amazigh press, and that most of its contents are presented in a non-Amazigh language, specifically Arabic and French. In the last chapter, researcher Tijani Bouawali tried to highlight the most important gains and challenges of the Amazigh press.


ISLAM AND AMAZIGHISM, TOWARDS A MODERATE UNDERSTANDING, CASABLANCA: AFRIQUE ORIENT, 2008

This book of Tijani Boulaouali was published in 2008 by Afrique Orient in Casablanca in Morocco. In this book, the author attempts to study amazighism in relation to Islam in two areas.

On the one hand, he returns to the history of North Africa to emphasize the cultural, intellectual and political contributions of the Berbers to Islamic civilization. Thanks to the efforts of the Berbers, Islam was spread both to Europe and to Sub-Saharan Africa.

On the other hand, the author discusses the main currents of the Berber elite, such as the realists, the pragmatists, the westernized and the researchers, and their approaches to the relationship between Islam and Berbers historically and realistically.

One of the essential conclusions of this book is: 'The development of amazighism requires first of all the development of the Amazigh man'. The author also emphasizes the fact that 'the Moroccan reality is based on the triad of Islam, Amazighism and Arabic'


THE ART OF AMAZIGH ADVERTISING, THE HAGUE: GLOBAL COLLEGE, 2007

The researcher Tijani Boulaouali wrote this book when he was a volunteer at Lahaye Global University between 2008 and 2012. This study falls within the framework of research projects, either to fill the methodological shortcoming that some new disciplines suffer from, such as the Amazigh press, for example, or to develop some academic courses, so that they become more appropriate to the digital and technological transformations that the education and training sector has known.

This study is the first of its kind in the field of Amazigh advertising, and it consists of two parts. The first part revolves around the concept of advertising art, where it deals with the meaning of this term, its history, its styles, and finally, the art of advertising and the psychology of the audience.

The second part was devoted to rooting the art of Amazigh advertising in particular, where its various aspects were discussed, such as the historical beginning, and the problem of language and letter in which this advertising is written, and then finally some characteristics of the art of Amazigh advertising were discussed.
